This privacy policy applies to the Movela app for mobile devices that was created by Movela Developer as a Free service. This service is intended for use AS IS.

The Application may process app usage information needed to provide local features such as collections, reminders, quizzes, and title discovery. Most app data is stored locally on your device.

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

AI Chat is optional and blocked until you give explicit consent in the app.

When you use AI Chat, the Application sends the text of each user message in the message field, the session identifier chat_id created when chat starts, and the fixed system_prompt sent when the chat session is created.

This data is sent to a third-party AI provider hosted through Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app. The provider processes the text to generate movie and TV show chat responses.

The purpose is only to answer your questions in the AI Chat feature about films and TV shows. Do not send personal information, credentials, or private data in chat messages.

You can withdraw AI Chat data sharing in the app Settings by turning off AI chat data sharing. When turned off, the app resets the local chat_id and blocks new AI Chat messages until you agree again.

The Service Provider may share information with trusted service providers who work on their behalf and agree to follow this privacy policy.

For AI Chat, the third-party processor is the Railway-hosted AI chat service described above. Prompts and replies leave the device only after consent.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information as required by law, to protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You can stop AI Chat data sharing inside the app by turning off AI chat data sharing in Settings.

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you would like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact movela@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

AI Chat conversation history may be retained server-side by the AI chat service using chat_id for conversation continuity. The app stores chat_id locally so the chat can survive app restarts, and resets it when you withdraw AI Chat data sharing.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application or Services, please contact movela@gmail.com so that the necessary actions can be taken.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. You are advised to consult this page regularly for changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-05-13.

By using the Application, you consent to processing as set forth in this Privacy Policy. AI Chat has a separate in-app consent gate and does not send create or request calls until you agree.
